- BEHIND THE SCENES -​

Dr. Rebecca Sutherns needed a video that would elevate her business by explaining what she does, who she serves, and what she’s like to work with.

 

She needed to grab the attention of her target market: leaders of forward thinking organizations, who value collaboration and have the decision making power to bring Rebecca into their strategy sessions.

 

However, Rebecca had a concern:

As a consultant and a group facilitator, people hire her for her MIND. Her work is largely intellectual, and Rebecca was unsure whether what she does could be expressed clearly and in a visually engaging way.

 

Together we found an effective solution to make her video work. By highlighting Rebecca’s dynamic personality and conveying the energy that she brings into a room, we were able to give viewers a taste of what Rebecca is like to work with.

 

Now, when she’s hired by an organization, they already know she’ll be a good fit for them.

- THE PRODUCTION -​

​

We met with Rebecca a few times to get an understanding of what she does, and to discuss how to make sure it would come across clearly. Together we nailed down the main talking points she wanted expressed in her video, and then we started filming.

 

We followed Rebecca to a number of planning meetings, filming as she facilitated sessions with different groups. This helped visually express Rebecca’s energy, experience, and versatility in what she does. Footage around Guelph's recognizable downtown also helped establish her location and the clientele she serves.

 

The end result is a video that expresses Rebecca’s collaborative work through her energy, intellect, and passion, and directly addresses the concerns she had at the outset of the project.
